P3fax 1.0.8.1 Released05 September 2007Unimessage P3fax version 1.0.8.1 installer is now available for download.
This installer can be used to install a new copy of P3fax or to update an existing installation of P3fax.
This version includes improvements as follows:
- Up to 5 routing rules are processed at any one time, so that if one rule takes some time to complete others are not delayed.
- If the P3fax scheduler logged out your web connection (e.g. because the same user logged into P3fax elsewhere or the connection was not used for some time) then when you clicked on any link in the P3fax page you would be required to log on again. In P3fax 1.0.8.0 after logging on you would be returned immediately to the timeout page, in P3fax 1.0.8.1 after logging on you are forwarded to the page related to the link on which you clicked.
- If a message is opened from the P3fax Outbox any body text associated with the message would not be displayed, though it would be sent. The body text is now displayed.
- If there were no messages in the Shared Inbox or in any user's Personal Inbox then when the P3fax scheduler restarts any messages in user created folders would be deleted.
- The date and time in the fax header sent by C1 fax devices would be incorrect if the PC running the P3fax scheduler was configured for any time zone other than GMT.
- If a sent message was moved or copied into a folder other than the user's Personal Sent Items folder then the date shown for that moved/copied message would not be the same as the date shown in the Sent Items folder, it is now the same.
- On Windows 2000 menu items in the P3group system tray icon's context menu (displayed when you right-click on the icon) would be highlighted as white on white, they now use the standard Windows colours.
- When used with some ESMTP mail servers that require authentication and provide a long response on first accepting an inbound connection, e.g. smtp.1und1.de, the MailX (email device driver) could lock shortly after connecting to the mail server and start to consume all available CPU time.
